Photography Projects
Athletic Magazine
In this project, I created a mockup of an athletic magazine spread promoting Conference Carolinas. After compiling my best sports photography shots, I organized them onto the spread and digitally illustrated the blue stripe using a tablet. The addition of typography made the spread more cohesive and dramatic by clarifying its purpose. These photos were all edited in Adobe Photoshop, which allowed me to adjust elements such as color balance, gamma levels and lighting.

Perfume Magazine

In creating this mockup of a perfume advertisement, I began with preparing the model's makeup. The aesthetic of this photoshoot was inspired by the recent push towards natural scents in perfume and fragrances. I set up a three-point lighting situation in the photography studio in order to avoid any sharp or drastic shadows. Following the shoot, I utilized Adobe Photoshop to adjust minor imperfections, create cohesion in the color balance and enhance the natural vibrancy of the flowers. After researching the brand, I then utilized Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and Procreate to piece together the final one page advertisement.

Wilson, NC Tourism Pamphlet
This traveler's pamphlet, I worked to promote some of the unique elements in my college town. These attributes included the Vollis Simpson Whirligig Park, the Wilson Rose Garden, and the Barton College Truist Stadium. In choosing these locations, I was able to continue practicing with nature and athletic photography, while also experimenting with new subjects at the Whirligig Park. I used Adobe Photoshop to edit the photos that I took and formatted them onto the pamphlet using Adobe InDesign. I utilized Procreate on a tablet in order to craft a mockup space to present the final product aesthetically.
